Alexander Salby secured his third victory in five stages of the Tour of Thailand. The 26-year-old Danish rider from Li Ning Star conquered the Sa Kaew / Sa Kaew stage of 136 kilometers, beating Kazakh rider Yevgeniy Gidich, who recently transferred from Astana to China Glory, and Mohd Harrif Saleh, the 36-year-old Malaysian cyclist from Terengganu Cycling.
Today's first-place finish allows Salby to take the lead in the general classification, now holding a 5-second advantage over Pellaud and 14 seconds ahead of Quartucci, who finished the stage in thirteenth position.
