The Gallina Lucchini Ecotek Colosio team has selected the riders for the two races scheduled for Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March. The Brescia formation led by Cesare Turchetti, fresh from the stage race in Croatia and Andrea Cocca's eighth place at the international Popolarissima in Treviso, will first tackle the Gran Premio Fiera della Possenta in Ceresara, which will be run over a distance of 140 kilometers starting at 2:00 PM. The Mantuan classic, in its 74th edition, lends itself to sprinters' skills with its flat circuit of 10 km to be repeated 14 times. The technical staff has selected a dynamic lineup, with the ambition to be protagonists, starting with Cocca himself who will launch into the sprint. Alongside him are Bregoli, Oliosi, Ukrainian Sydor, Gavazzi, Bonini and De Marchi.
The second appointment concerns the Trofeo Città di Loreto scheduled in Villa Musone in the province of Ancona, in the Marche region, next Sunday. In this case, the team's ambitions are identical to those of Ceresara, but with different riders such as experienced Belleri, Guerra and Magli who on paper offer the best guarantees to aim for the target. With them will be Bonometti, Calzaferri, Pellegrini and the Ukrainian Sydor.
The Marche event will develop over a distance of 128 kilometers on a flat route with a single climb at the end. The start is at 2:00 PM.
