The Hungarian achieves her first Cup victory in Maasmechelen, Belgium, after an extremely challenging race made even more difficult by the muddy terrain from the rain. Vas's attack came during the last lap, with the Team SD Worx Protime rider gaining a few meters on the indomitable Backstedt and Brand, who finished in second and third positions respectively.
