Founded three years ago, already widely known and established in international off-road cycling with participation in three E-MTB World Championships and three Gravel World Championships, as well as the World Cup, Bike Academy proposes the 2025 novelty in elite-under cycling. The Lucca-based society, winner of seven Tuscan off-road titles in three years, will conduct road activities in the upcoming season (opening with the national classic Firenze-Empoli on February 22) with an Under 23 sextet.
A decision that confirms on one hand the commitment of President Marco Isola, owner of the Bike Academy bicycle and components store, located in Guamo near Lucca, and on the other hand the collaboration and support guaranteed by Nicola Parenti, an off-road athlete, athletic trainer, and coordinator. It is also worth highlighting the contribution provided by Marchini Costruzioni construction company, Scatolificio Nardini, Ambianti Arredamento, Tecnocostruzioni, Toscofibre, and Gelateria Taba, as well as various technical sponsors. Six under 23 riders are ready to give their all, with little experience in the category, but with the desire to stand out. They will be guided by two technicians, Dainelli and Fulfini, who boast experience in their role as sports directors with recent experience in U.C. Pistoiese.
LA SQUADRA UNDER 23 (Strada): Edoardo Bonafini, Ciolini, Ruggero Lombardi, Federico Nesi, Giovanni Romoli, Leonardo Sica.
LA SQUADRA ELITE (Fuoristrada): Filippo Cecchi, Simone Massoni, Nicola Parenti.
STAFF TECNICO: Fausto Dainelli, Marco Fulfini; preparatori Nicola Parenti e Leandro Gennai.
CONSIGLIO DIRETTIVO: Presidente Marco Isola; vice presidente Giulio Parenti; consiglieri Stefano Scatena, Sergio Parri, Yari Filadoro, Massimo Lombardi, Carlo Brotini.
