Excellent second place for Patrik Pezzo Rosola in Belgium. The son of champions closes the Azencross of Loenhout, valid for the Challenge Exact Cross, behind Czech Krystof Bazant who precedes the young Italian by just 5". Completing the podium is the third place of British Oscar Amey, while Vincenzo Caros is 17th and Andrea Tarallo 22nd. Eighty-two athletes were in the race.
Pezzo Rosola, born in 2008 from Garda near Verona, son of Olympic champion Paolo Pezzo and former professional Paolo Rosola, representing the Zanolini Q36.5 SudTirol team, marks another step forward on the international stage. For more than a month, young Patrik has been competing abroad and had previously obtained second place in Dielsdorf in the Swiss Cup, sixth in Namur in Belgium, and twice ninth place in the French Cup in Troyes. Not to mention his 16th place at the European Championship in Pontevedra, Spain, won by Italian Mattia Agostinacchio.
