Christmas is spent with family, but if a chair remains empty at the table, you can't celebrate. Especially if the empty seat was that of a 21-year-old who had his whole life ahead of him and would have fulfilled his dream of becoming a professional cyclist in the new year.
It cannot be a joyful Christmas for those who loved
Simone Roganti, but by the will of his loved ones, it will be a Christmas of remembrance. Not in black and white, but in color. The Roganti family is pleased to invite cycling enthusiasts to the inauguration of the mural in memory of this promising climber whose heart stopped too soon, breaking the hearts of parents, uncles, grandparents, and many friends. The work, which
tuttobiciweb today shows you in preview like a precious gift found under the tree, was entirely created by one of the most renowned and representative character artists, namely the artist Antonello Piccinino, aka Macs, and fully funded by the Roganti family.
It will be presented to the public on Saturday, December 28th at 12:00 PM on Via Campo Sportivo in Spoltore, in the province of Pescara, and aims to be a heartfelt tribute to his memory as well as a tangible sign of the bond of this little champion, nicknamed Rogantino17, with his community. The ceremony will be attended by Mayor Chiara Trulli, representatives of the Municipal Administration, the leadership of Abruzzo Cycling Federation, starting with President Mauro Marrone and Vice President Maurizio Formichetti, and other local authorities. The event will be presented by journalist Enrico Giancarli.
