A special look for a special cause: when Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe lines up at Paris-Roubaix this Sunday, the team will wear a surprising red helmet, a symbol of their support for the Wings for Life World Run.
The initiative highlights an important mission: finding a cure for spinal cord injuries. With the motto "run for those who can't", over 265,000 people in 169 countries participated in last year's global race, all simultaneously. 100% of registration fees go directly to spinal cord research. In 2024, over 8 million euros were raised through registrations and donations.
This year's race takes place on May 4th and for the first time Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe will participate with their own cycling team. Everyone is invited to participate. With their bright red helmet, the team invites the cycling community to swap bikes for running shoes on May 4th and run for a good cause. Fans can register on wingsforlifeworldrun.com and join the team alongside professional cyclists, staff, and partners. Every step counts.
The red helmet will be worn exclusively at the "Queen of the Classics" and will serve a second purpose after the race: the worn helmets will be auctioned, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Wings for Life Spinal Cord Research Foundation.
