
The event "Cycling, Values and Territories", promoted by the Professional Cycling League, will be held on April 2nd at 1 PM in Brussels, at the Committee of the Regions of the European Union, which has granted its patronage. The Committee's President Roberto Pella is a member in his capacity as Mayor of Valdengo and Vice President of ANCI.
It will be an important moment of discussion on the themes of territorial enhancement through cycling, social inclusion, and gender equality.
The event will be attended by prominent figures from the European and Italian institutional and sports landscape, including Kata Tüttő, President of the Committee of the Regions, Roberto Pella, President of the Professional Cycling League, Massimiliano Fedriga, President of the Conference of Regions, Gianni Bugno, President of the Technical Committee of the League and two-time World Champion on the road, Federica Favi, Ambassador of Italy in Belgium, and Marco Canaparo, Ambassador, Deputy Permanent Representative of Italy to the EU.
At the center of the meeting will be the presentation, in the European headquarters, of the Coppa Italia delle Regioni 2025, the project of the Professional Cycling League and the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces, which aims to tell and promote, through sport, the beauties and identities of Italian territories.
The appointment will represent a new and important step in the path of strengthening the central role of the League in promoting Italian and European cycling, its social and economic value, as well as its educational role and its function in increasing territorial cohesion.
