Another great news for Italian cycling comes from Portugal. Luca Giaimi has won the Troféu Internacional da Arrábida (1.2 category in the UCI calendar), contested over a distance of 173.8 km. The Ligurian rider from UAE Emirates Gen Z preceded Argentine Nicolas Tivani (Aviludo - Louletano - Loulé) and British Harrison Wood from the Anicolor - Tien21 Cycling Team.
For the 20-year-old Giaimi, in his second season with the Emirates youth team, this represents his first success in the top category.
