Jhonatan Narvaez confirms himself as the Ecuadorian national champion for the second year. The UAE Team Emirates XRG rider won the title in the road race held in Cotacahi over a distance of 169 kilometers. Narvaez, already a winner in this early season at the Santos Tour Down Under (plus a stage), preceded his compatriots Jefferson Alexander Cepeda of EF Education EasyPost and Mateo Pablo Ramirez from the High Level-Gsport-Grupo Tormo team.
