And the winner is... Stefano Oldani! What did he win? Well, the misfortune award. He's the same Lombard rider from Cofidis who recounts his seasonal debut: "This time, I didn't even have time to start before a stupid, but truly terrible accident happened. After a normal and quick stop during the race, we were returning among the team cars when there was a sudden braking, a rider ahead of me didn't see and fell right in front of me at 60 km/h... The consequence for me is a triple radius fracture, a displaced scaphoid fracture, and an ulna fracture... Needless to say how demoralized I am, once again I will use all my energy to come back stronger than before... And let me say infinite thanks to the team for always being close to me and helping me recover as soon as possible".
