Pleasant morning dedicated to Varese cycling at the Gavirate Library. The occasion was the presentation of the volume "Varese Pedala", dedicated to the characters and events of the Varese province from 1893 to the present day. Morning guest was the former professional Silvano Contini who entertained those present with some anecdotes about his cycling career, but also his private life with the encounter with the woman who would become his wife, which took place at the Tre Valli Varesine in 1981. The mayor of Gavirate, Massimo Parola, had words of praise for the authors of the volume published by Sunrise Media, which in 176 pages, accompanied by 186 photographs, retraces the stories of the most important events, from world championships in various specialties to international races.
