Italian double in the third stage of the Tour de Taiwan. Giacomo Ballabio, a 27-year-old Lombard riding for the Austrian Continental team Hrinkow Advarics, won the third stage, the Xinpu / Shigang, beating Lorenzo Quartucci of Solution Tech - Vini Fantini and Dylan Hopkins, an Australian from Roojai Insurance. The stage was decided with a sprint of about twenty riders at the end of the 154 kilometers planned.

The General Classification is led by young German Moritz Kretschy (Israel Premier Tech Academy) who has a 3" advantage over his teammate Brady Gilmore, 7" over Jordi López (Euskaltel – Euskadi) and Giacomo Ballabio.
