Alexander Konychev celebrates his first victory in the 64th edition of the international Kirschblütenrennen (Cherry Blossom Race in Wels), Austria. On the final climb, the 26-year-old Konychev from Team Vorarlberg attacks and rides alone towards the finish line after just under four hours. He wins with a seven-second advantage over German rider Jon Knolle from Team Rembe-Rad-net. Third place went to Austrian Fabian Steininger (WSA-KTM Graz).
