The first major race to officially announce its choices, after the UCI's approval to expand to 23 teams, is the Tour de France. There are no surprises in ASO's selections: alongside the 18 WorldTour teams and the two ProTeams invited by right (Lotto and Israel Premier Tech), the French race will see the participation of TotalEnergies, the only French team in the category, the Norwegian Uno-X Mobility, which has become a regular presence in ASO-branded races, and the Swiss Tudor Pro Cycling, which will make its debut in the world's most important stage race with Julian Alaphilippe, who will most likely be the team's captain on home roads.
