OMNIUM. Young German Tim Torn Teutenberg won the scratch race, beating Danish rider Niklas Larsen and French rider Ellande Larronde. After a disappointing start that saw him finish thirteenth in the first event, Elia Viviani finished fifth in the time race and now sits in eighth place overall. Teutenberg remains in command with 78 points, followed by Larsen with 66 and Dutch rider Heijnen with 64, tied with Czech rider Krenek. Tonight's program includes the elimination race and the final points race.
In the elimination race, Viviani rediscovered his best form and finished second behind an explosive Teutenberg, who is increasingly solidifying his lead in the general classification. Viviani is now in fourth place with 86 points, 12 points behind the third-place Dutch rider Heijnen.
