Double celebration for MG Kvis Costruzioni e Ambiente Colors for Peace with Ben Granger's success in Great Britain and Ciro Alvarez Perez's bronze medal at the Panamerican Road Championships.
Granger's winning move, a 2000-born rider from Oxford who has already won the Firenze-Empoli this season, came at the end of the Rutland-Melton CiCLE Classic, a prestigious event in the British international calendar, with start and finish in Oakham, Rutland County. After 177 kilometers of racing, Granger crossed the finish line solo, beating Belgian Avondts and his compatriot Hicks by 23".
In South America, Perez delivered another important performance at the Panamerican Under-23 Road Championship in Punta del Este, Uruguay, covering 157 kilometers. The athlete coached by Maurizio Frizzo, who last February became Uruguayan road champion (2nd in time trial) and finished third at Milano-Busseto, fought for victory and ultimately secured third place behind Colombian riders Guatibonza and Velez.
