Full confirmation of predictions in the twenty-second Valdigreve Tour with a new triumph for Iperfinish, winning with Aretine rider Tommaso Roggi, also securing second place with Spanio and fourth with Favilli. The race was decided in the final stages (six laps with the Pontaccio climb were planned) when a trio broke away, competing for victory on Viale Giovanni Da Verrazzano at the entrance to Greve. There was no sprint between the two Iperfinish athletes, as Roggi and Spanio finished side by side, followed about twenty meters behind by the brave and generous Cappelletti. The chasing group arrived 19 seconds later, with Livornese Favilli taking fourth place, completing yet another team success for the Fucecchio team at their sixth seasonal victory. The race, which was also valid for the Alfredo Barbieri Trophy and the Maurizio Dini Cup, saw 55 youth riders participating, organized by Ciclistica Grevigiana.
