
Vinitaly has traditionally been the moment when Astoria Wines presented the official bottle of the Giro d'Italia and the Giro d'Italia Women, a preview of the toasts that the Treviso-based brand has accompanied on the podium since 2012: the first bottle was uncorked by Veneto Governor Luca Zaia, Astoria President Paolo Polegato, CEO Filippo Polegato, RCS Sports Events CEO Paolo Bellino, and Giro d'Italia Director Mauro Vegni.
The celebration also involved the Grand Start in Albania, with a special bottle dedicated to the country that will host the start of the pink race.
This year with an additional novelty: Zerotondo, the new alcohol-free product entirely made with 100% organic grapes.
For Astoria, which exports to 112 countries, this partnership has strengthened its presence in the countries touched by the Giro (Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, Hungary): this year, 12,000 bottles with special labels dedicated to the start from Albania have already been sold.
