
The roads of Slovenia are proving lucky for Lara Crestanello. After winning the Umag Classic, the rider from Vicenza of the Born to Win BTC City Ljubljana Zhiraf team repeats her success at the Velika Nagrada Obcine Piran women's elite race, where she sprints past her breakaway companion, Slovenian Nika Bobnar. Giorgia Serena finishes in fifth place, 31" behind her teammate. In the junior women's race, Carlotta Petris takes third place, with Camilla Murro eighth and Annarita Calligaris eleventh, all from Libertas Ceresetto.
In the junior men's race, Massimo Podo finishes third and Lorenzo Pandolfo thirteenth, also from Libertas Ceresetto.
