It could not have been any different. During the presentation of the Montecarlo Cycling Society's program at the "Fattoria del Poggio", the memory of the late president Ferdinando Di Galante accompanied the ceremony. For 54 years, he was the gentleman president who had the merit of leading a society where Michele Bartoli and Marco Giovannetti raced, who won Italian and regional titles, and who always took care of the youth sector. Beautiful was the gesture of his wife Marisa Fabbri, who wanted to join the society's board, now chaired by Fabrizio Pollastrini, in a sort of continuity with the work done by her husband. In 2025, U.S.D. Montecarlo Cycling has 19 athletes, with 10 youngest, 4 beginners, and 5 juniors.
On April 12 and 13, the two days organized on the San Giuseppe circuit in Montecarlo for 52 years now, with the youngest on Saturday, beginners and juniors on Sunday, while on June 29 in Pieve a Fosciana, juniors and beginners will compete for the Tuscan title. A beautiful reality recognized by the party's guests, national FCI councilor Laura Puccetti, regional president Luca Menichetti, provincial president Pierluigi Castellani, and Montecarlo's mayor Marzia Bassini. Among the historic sponsors: Pizzeria Rusticanella, System Data, Nissan Domenichini, Agraria Checchi Silvano. This is the roster for the season that will open next Sunday, March 23, right in the province of Lucca.
