Matilde Carretta is the Italian champion for the second year in a row. The rider from Treviso of GS Mosole, who last year won the second-year novice title in Bologna, today repeated her success in the first-year junior Italian championship held in Follonica, in the province of Grosseto. The talented Venetian, Italian road champion in 2023 and twice on the track in 2024 (Madison and Omnium), won the race by beating Valdostan Matilde Anselmi from Salus Seregno and Friulian Rebecca Anzisi from Jam's Bike Team Buja.
