di Danilo Vigano
Great second place for Mattia Agostinacchio in Diegem, Belgium, in the traditional evening Superprestige event (not valid for juniors category) where the European champion narrowly missed victory, finishing just 11" behind Belgian Arthur Van Den Boer, who won by a significant margin. Third place went to another Belgian, Giel Lejeune, while Patrik Pezzo Rosola finished in seventh position.
Excellent performance by the Italians in the classic Belgian race, with Agostinacchio taking a front-row position against the coalition of young Flemish riders who managed to propel the talent of Van Den Boer and his compatriot Lejeune forward. Also impressive was Pezzo Rosola, the son of a cycling family, who is increasingly convincing on the international stage. For him, a valuable seventh place achieved on a high-level platform.
