A fierce and exciting fourth stage of the Cyclocross World Cup for elite riders took place today in Namur, Belgium. From the direct confrontation among the best specialists in the international scene, the figure of Michael Vanthourenhout emerged, who after his success in Dublin (and yesterday in Herentals) replicated in the Belgian event, consolidating his advantage in the Cup standings. The Belgian from Pauwels Sauzen Bingoal won on merit after pursuing the fugitive Emiel Verstrynge (Crelan Corendon) and taking advantage of a crash by Toon Aerts, who finished second, when he was leading the race. Third place for Verstrynge.
