Soudal Quick Step presents today the jersey that riders will wear in the 2025 season.
Designed by Castelli's graphic designer Luisa Menini, the new kit predominantly features the traditional dark blue that is synonymous with the Belgian team, while leaving space for Soudal's red. Mixed with this is a lighter blue shade, which is a nod to the team's history and historic leadership in the northern classics. All of this is integrated into a moving fusion model that was designed to imitate the movement of a passing cyclist.
As announced at the beginning of the year, the Belgian team will continue its relationship with the famous cycling clothing provider Castelli for the next two seasons: the Italian company will provide jerseys and shorts along with a wide range of clothing, including the sector-leading Gabba R jacket and other items that will help riders give their best in the world's biggest and most difficult races, in any condition.
Menini stated: "I am honored to have been invited to collaborate on the design of the Soudal Quick-Step 2025 kit. I wanted to add a sense of freshness and experimented with a lighter blue shade: when this was presented to the team, we formulated a model that would allow us to pay homage to the great history of this famous team. I then tried to integrate Soudal's red naturally, like the one seen in the T-Rex outfit used at last year's Vuelta, which also provided the perfect canvas for positioning the team's sponsor logos".
Castelli's Brand Manager, Steve Smith, stated: "We always look for opportunities to elevate performance. Working with such a motivated team allows us to refine products that excel in aerodynamics, comfort, and protection from atmospheric agents. The graphic elements of the 2025 kit show a young and dynamic design that reflects the energy, motivation, and strong synergy between Soudal Quick-Step and Castelli's Race Performance Division. This partnership embodies how innovation thrives in the professional group, and we are proud to ensure that these advances benefit not only Soudal Quick-Step cyclists but cyclists worldwide".
"I love the new design and will be proud to wear it in 2025. Castelli creates wonderful cycling garments that can help us stay warm in the coldest races at the beginning of February and March and then fight the heat of the Tour de France or Vuelta, while having qualities and comfort that allow us to pedal all day. The new design is very appealing, and I'm sure everyone will love it.
Next season could be historic for the team, as we are approaching our 1000th victory, and it would be truly fantastic to reach this incredible milestone with this beautiful kit",
added Mikel Landa. The new kit will be available for pre-order from January 2nd on the team's webshop.
