AN AWARD FOR GIUSEPPE FIGINI: IN PADERNO DUGNANO HE WILL RECEIVE THE «GOLDEN CALDERINA»

Our Giuseppe Figini will be awarded tomorrow in his Paderno Dugnano, a municipality near Milan, with the Golden Calderina, an honor that the Municipal Administration annually assigns to citizens and associations who have distinguished themselves in their daily actions with a spirit of service to the community.

For this edition, states the communication drafted by the Municipality, six Golden Calderinas have been assigned to:
Giuseppe Figini, a citizen of Paderno, was a collaborator of Vincenzo Torriani in organizing the Giro d'Italia and other important cycling races. A long-standing sports journalist, he was a member of the Technical Commission of the Italian Cycling Federation and Race Director. He has passionately and competently narrated the world of Italian cycling, becoming a reference figure for Giro d'Italia enthusiasts and for national and international sports journalism. He is a precious point of reference and historical memory of the specialized site tuttobiciweb.
Studio Levati, founded in 1964 by Gianfranco Levati, was one of the first accounting firms in Paderno Dugnano. This year marks 60 years of activity.
Eugenio Marelli, in memoriam, a historic representative of city politics and volunteerism. A long-standing socialist, he was a municipal councilor in multiple administrative mandates, distinguishing himself for his ability to always conduct a competent, frank, and constructive dialogue.
Giada Maslovaric, a psychologist and psychotherapist from Paderno, expert in relational interventions in emergency contexts, together with the EMDR 0-18 group, voluntarily provided a fundamental contribution to the community in post-traumatic management, following the events that occurred on the night of August 31st.
Giovanni Rizzo, who dedicated his life to promoting sports wellness and values in Paderno Dugnano. He was a gymnastics teacher, founder and president of SSD Gynmusic since 1986. Even today, he continues to voluntarily dedicate himself to promoting wellness, particularly among the elderly population.
Don Paolo Stefanazzi, former parish priest of the Pastoral Community of Saints Ambrogio and Martino, represented an important point of reference for the communities of Palazzolo Milanese and Cassina Amata, promoting values of welcome, solidarity, and educational commitment at the city level.
