The request made by the national vice president of the Cycling Federation, Saverio Metti from Florence, to the junior societies has been successful. They were asked to set up a circuit race for the upcoming weekend (Saturday, April 12) after the cancellation of the race in Pieve al Toppo (Arezzo) that was originally scheduled.
The Tuscan junior societies have taxed themselves (100 euros each), finding full availability from the ASD Moto Guzzi of Prato-Angolo del Pirata, an increasingly active society that deserves the highest praise, chaired by Marco Gabbricci. They will organize the event with the important and valuable collaboration of the Municipality of Altopascio, thanks to Mayor Sara D'Ambrosio and sports representative Valentina Bernardini.
The race will take place on the Spianate circuit, where amateur cyclists will compete in the 2nd Piero Belli Memorial earlier in the afternoon. The junior race, valid for the Anna and Antonio Fabianelli Memorial, with 140 registered participants, is scheduled to start at 4:30 PM and will cover 8 laps of 9.700 kilometers, totaling 79 kilometers and 700 meters.
