Marta Lach succeeds Lotte Kopecky in the Nokere Koerse Women's palmarès, who was absent today. The Polish rider from SD Worx Protime secured her first victory with her new jersey, beating Swiss rider Linda Zanetti (Uno-X Mobility) in a sprint finish on a slight uphill. Completing the podium was Irish rider Lara Gillespie (UAE Team ADQ).
The race proceeded without major developments until 20 kilometers from the finish, when on the cobbled section of Lange Ast, FDJ Suez riders increased the pace, quickly catching up with 19-year-old Swedish rider Stina Kagevi (Team Coop - Repsol), who had been in a breakaway for several kilometers.
On the subsequent cobblestone section, Finnish rider Anniina Ahtosalo (Uno-X Mobility) set a strong pace and selected the group. Immediately after, time trial Olympic silver medalist Anna Henderson (Lidl - Trek) launched a counterattack, remaining alone in the lead for a few kilometers before being caught by the stretched peloton led by SD Worx Protime and Visma Lease a Bike.
