Matthias Schwarzbacher is nineteen years old, is Slovak, wears the UAE Team Emirates Gen Z jersey and has gifted the team a victory in the Umag Classic, which was raced this afternoon.

In the Croatian competition, which was held over a distance of 142 kilometers, Schwarzbacher beat Italian Filippo Fortin of Solution Tech - Vini Fantini in a sprint and Tobiasz Pawlak of Team Voster ATS, who finished third, ahead of his compatriot Marceli Bogusławski, who joined ATT Investments this year.

Among the best of the day were also Mattia Pinazzi and Matteo Milan: the Emilian rider from VF Group - Bardiani CSF – Faizanè finished seventh, completing the race ahead of the Friulian rider from Lidl Trek Future.
