
The two-day cycling event "Pasqualando" organized by San Miniato-S.Croce and U.C. S.Croce sull'Arno scheduled for April 19 and 20, was presented at La Patrie Tannery (main sponsor of the event) in Ponte a Egola, with representatives from Federciclismo, San Miniato Promotion, the Municipality of San Miniato, San Miniato Savings Bank Foundation, and Meyer Hospital in Florence, for which a fundraising will be held, followed by a dinner near the finish area.
THE PROGRAM: The fourth edition of this Easter two-day event will take place on a flat 2.200 km circuit, with registration at Vestra Corporation in via del Cuoio, which is also the finish line. The first race on Saturday, April 19 will be the junior men's race covering 33 laps (72 km), starting at 9 AM, followed at 11 AM by the national Handbike race valid for the Society Cup. The third event will be for under-23 and elite riders (41 laps for 90 km) with official start at 12:40 PM. At 3 PM, the race for young riders (7-12 years) will begin, followed by an ecological ride for Category B with the presence of Tuscan and other professional athletes for charitable purposes.
On Easter Sunday, April 20, the program starts at 9:30 AM with the departure of first and second-year beginners on 11 laps (24.2 km), followed at 10:30 AM by the race for cadets, who will complete twenty-one laps for a total of 46.2 km. The last part of "Pasqualando" will be dedicated to the women's sector, with the first race (start at 12 PM, 63.8 km equal to 29 laps) for the "Open" category (junior, under-23, and elite) with assignment of 2025 Tuscan titles for juniors and under-23. At 2 PM, the start for beginners with a race valid for the Rosa Trophy over 22 kilometers with Pisan provincial titles at stake, and finally the race for cadets (44 km starting at 3 PM) with the provincial title up for grabs.
