The organizers of the Paris-Roubaix have officially confirmed today - after the traditional reconnaissance - the routes that women and men will face during the weekend challenging the Hell of the North, assigning the traditional difficulty stars to the cobblestone sectors. The total length of the stone sectors in the 122nd edition of the men's Paris-Roubaix will be slightly shorter compared to last year. Starting from Troisvilles (km 95), 30 sectors for a total of 55.3 km (down from 55.7 km in 2024) will call the most resistant champions to the spotlight.
Speaking to the media during the final reconnaissance, race director Thierry Gouvenou explained the logic behind the design of the chicane leading to the Trouée d'Arenberg: "There will be four right turns within 600 meters. The approach should be more fluid compared to the hairpin we had last year, but still slower than the traditional route. The Porte du Hainaut community has standardized the road that we were unable to use in 2024, repaving a small part that needed to be patched."
The fifth edition of Paris-Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift will instead take place on Saturday over a total distance of 148.5 km, the same as in 2024, with an unchanged program regarding the cobblestones: the women will tackle the last 17 sectors of the men's route, for a total of 29.2 km.
