After the positive experience at the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali, which represented a fundamental step in preparation, we return to racing with significant ambitions. We start today with a race of undisputed prestige like the Milano-Busseto, now in its 75th edition. The finish is in the city of Giuseppe Verdi, and this race has often seen team manager Antonio Bevilacqua's riders triumph, and he will be in the team car for the occasion.
For this event, we will field a formation with several fast riders, including Edoardo Cipollini, Gabriele Casalini, Matteo Fiorin, Manuel Oioli, and alongside them, a climber like Mark Valent. The race can be followed live on streaming: YouTube Live - Milano-Busseto
The following day we will move to Emilia-Romagna, to Reda di Faenza, where two years ago the team managed to win, securing its first victory in the U23 category. In 2024, the race smiled on the MBH Bank Ballan CSB Colpack team, thanks to the success of Pavel Novak. The Czech rider will be at the start again and is among the most anticipated athletes. Around him, a highly competitive formation with Lorenzo Masciarelli, Lorenzo Nespoli, Cesare Chesini and Diego Bracalente. Flavio Mozzo will lead the group in these Veneto classics.
Antonio Bevilacqua stated: "We are preparing to experience an intense month of April, where we were also protagonists last year. So far we have worked meticulously and seriously, collecting a nice success at Coppa San Geo. Then some unfortunate episodes prevented us from achieving more, but we are nonetheless serene and aware of our value. The Settimana Coppi e Bartali allowed us to complete the work done at altitude and now we face these trials with great optimism. The guys are eager to showcase themselves".
JUNIOR: An excellent second place in the Junior team for Hungarian Boldizsar Zsembery, in Leonding, Austria, where the road season began with the Road Cycling League Austria race, in which MBH Bank Cycling Team riders participated, tackling a 86.4 km course, at the end of which Boldizsár Zsembery (MBH Bank Cycling Team) conquered the second step of the podium.
