The VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè celebrates a great success with Manuele Tarozzi, who won the King of the Mountains Classification at Tirreno-Adriatico. After more than ten years since the last triumph in this ranking, when Marco Canola won in 2014, Tarozzi brings the green jersey back to the Italian team. The last Italian to win the Mountain Classification was Nicola Bagioli, in the 2018 edition.
The team's performance in the race is decidedly positive, with three top 10 placements: Enrico Zanoncello finished 10th in the second stage, while Filippo Fiorelli obtained a 7th and a 10th place. In addition to winning the mountain classification, the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè confirms itself as a protagonist with an excellent overall performance, conquering 8th place in the team classification.
These are Tarozzi's words: "It is a great honor for me to have won this prestigious jersey. It is an important result for me and for the entire team. I want to thank my teammates for their support and the hard work we have done together, which today has been rewarded. My physical condition is continuously improving and I hope to continue on this path".
