This is the comment from League President Roberto Pella. "The first stage of the Regions Cup concluded with great success, from every perspective. The initiative best highlights the spectacle of cycling and the beauties of Italy, thanks also to RAI's television coverage, our partner, which broadcasts images worldwide. Italy confirms itself as a protagonist, with a territory rich in history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes, narrated through a high-level production. We are the first country to organize a challenge like the Regions Cup, uniting 21 male and 10 female competitions under a single vision, with equal prize money for men and women: a concrete step towards real equality in cycling. A special thanks goes to the President of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces, Massimiliano Fedriga, with whom we signed the fundamental League agreement that allows us to enhance the territories. This will be accompanied by other protocols with Provinces and Municipalities, demonstrating our shared commitment to growing the cycling movement and promoting our country. Thanks also to the Italian Government for its precious support, particularly to the Ministry of Economy with Giancarlo Giorgetti, the Ministry of Tourism with Daniela Santanchè, the Minister of Sports and Youth, Andrea Abodi, and the Minister for Equal Opportunities, Birth Rate and Family, Eugenia Roccella. This is the Cycling League: athletes, organizers, teams, institutions and RAI united in a great team game. And we are just at the beginning".
