The Frentano cycling association ASD Moreno Di Biase is ready to get back in the saddle for a 2025 season that promises to be particularly interesting, with the goal of further consolidating itself. The growth and development of young talents remain the beating heart of the team, led by Moira Di Pasquale, who continues the project linked to her husband Moreno Di Biase, a professional cyclist between the nineties and two thousands. By their side, a very young staff member, their son Mattia Di Biase.
Very young cyclists, beginners and juniors constitute the main backbone of the team, which is also venturing into para-cycling thanks to two well-known athletes in the Frentano territory: Ilenia Colanero (multi-medalist and holder of two world records in dynamic apnea) and Lorena Ziccardi (wheelchair basketball player) represent an added value to the entire project in the name of inclusion.
In addition to races in Abruzzo and outside the region, ASD Moreno Di Biase continues its commitment to promoting cycling among the youngest, through introductory courses and collaborations with schools. A philosophy already consolidated in previous years, with the aim of becoming an increasingly important reference point for the youth cycling movement.
The event to officially launch the season is set for Sunday, March 2nd in Treglio with the traditional social lunch in the presence of local political institution representatives, Abruzzo Regional FCI President Mauro Marrone, and former professional cyclists from Abruzzo Luciano Rabottini and Marco Antonio Di Renzo.
