
In the quiet retreat of Montecatini Terme, Team Pieri has refined its preparation ahead of the seasonal debut on Sunday, March 2nd in the Giuliano Baronti Trophy at Cerbaia di Lamporecchio, a national junior race that will be broadcast on a delayed basis on Rai Sport late Sunday evening. The team from Settimello di Calenzano presents itself this year with a roster of 10 riders, of which four have been confirmed by president Piero Pieri, while six are new faces in the organization that with 2025 is in its twenty-first year of activity.
The team with new "Bianchi" bikes and clothing provided by Alè, one of the most prestigious brands in cycling, has conducted substantial preparation under the guidance of sports directors Federico Fioravanti and Samuele Breschi, assisted by Francesco Dani. From a technical perspective, a team with good collective potential, lacking a true sprinter, but featuring an excellent climber in the Sicilian Buturo. In the seasonal program, two stage races: the Valdera Tour in Tuscany and the "Ciociarissima" in Lazio, along with some other out-of-Tuscany trips. Finally, important for Team Pieri is the support guaranteed by several companies present for many years, and for president Piero Pieri, recently awarded the silver medal by the Italian Cycling Federation, the collaboration with Leonardo Forconi.
