
5 cyclists have written their names in the golden book of the 6 editions of the UAE Tour held from 2019 to 2024. The only one capable of celebrating more than one success is Tadej Pogacar, winner in 2021 and 2022. For the Slovenian champion, his personal record also includes the 2nd place in 2020, but the best for number of podiums so far is British rider Adam Yates (4). For him, the triumph of 2020, second places in 2021 and 2022, and third place in 2023.
Slovenia leads the nations ranking, also counting Roglic's victory in 2019, while Belgium occupies the runner-up spot thanks to two victories in the last two editions by Evenepoel and Van Eetvelt. In total, 12 riders have stood on the final podium, representing 8 nations. For Italian cycling, the best results were the seventh places obtained in 2021 by Damiano Caruso and in 2023 by Antonio Tiberi.
Belgian Tim Merlier has won 5 stages (2 in 2023 and 3 in 2024) and leads the respective ranking, while Pogacar, with his 10 days at the top of the general classification (6 in 2021 and 4 in 2022), is the cyclist who has worn the leader's jersey most often. A total of 14 nations have seen their riders win at least one stage in the short history of the UAE Tour, including Italy, on target with Elia Viviani in 2019 at Khor Fakkan and with Filippo Ganna in 2021 in the time trial at Al Hudayriat Island.
