Another cyclist has died on the roads. The victim is unfortunately a nineteen-year-old Colombian, Juan David Cárdenas Suesca, who while training on a road in the Boyacá department in Colombia, did not notice the presence of a road maintenance vehicle and could not avoid colliding with it.

A talented young rider with outstanding climbing skills, Cardenas Suesca was racing for the Boyacá Race of Champion team. In 2021, he finished second in the Vuelta del Futuro, and last year he moved to Portugal to pursue an international growth path.
