Giorgia Pellizotti's World Cup adventure concludes with a seventh place finish. The daughter of a cycling professional once again achieves an excellent result in the final race in Hoogerheide, Netherlands, where Barbora Bukovska from Ostrava claimed victory ahead of Dutch rider Cabaca and Canadian Carrier, the latter winning the overall Cup classification. Pellizotti, born in 2008 from Mareno di Piave and daughter of former professional Franco, distinguished herself in all world ranking events with a fifth place in Hulst, eighth in Zonhoven and Besancon, and ninth in Dublin. She also won the European title in the Relay and bronze in the individual race in Pontevedra, Spain.
