HOW THE TROFEO ORO IN EURO GROWS. ON MARCH 9TH, 25 TEAMS AT THE START, SEVEN FROM WORLDTOUR

Preparations have already begun for the 2025 edition of the Trofeo Oro in Euro that will welcome top-level athletes. The now traditional competition with start and finish in Montignoso, in Versilia, will take place on Sunday, March 9th, 2025 and will once again see the close collaboration between A.S.D Montignoso and the Oro in Euro jewelry stores. Now in its thirteenth edition, the Trofeo Oro in Euro has managed to carve out a prestigious position in the international calendar, reaching category 1.1. Over the years, numerous champions from different parts of the world have battled along the route, leaving their mark in the prestigious honor roll. To date, only two athletes have managed to win twice: Sofia Bertizzolo in 2016 and 2022, and Elisa Longo Borghini in 2012 (first edition organized in collaboration with Oro in Euro) and 2024. Among other winners, we remember the 2007 Stuttgart World Champion Marta Bastianelli, Arianna Fidanza, Rachele Barbieri, Gaia Realini, and the strong Cuban athlete Arlenis Sierra. The registered teams are a total of 25, 7 of which are World Tour formations, important presences that confirm the high level of the race. Canyon Sram Racing, Uae Adq, Fenix Deceuninck, Human Powered Health, Uno x Mobiity, Roland, and Liv Jayco Alula will be joined by 4 Professional teams, 13 Continental teams, and the US national team. The Italian formations are 6, with the remaining representing 12 countries worldwide. The great champions at the start will not be missing, thanks to the strategic proximity to Strade Bianche. The Italian champion Elisa Longo Borghini, winner in 2024, has already confirmed her presence and the desire to defend her race title. The route will traditionally feature the double climb of the Fortezza hill, which has many times been the scene of the decisive attack for victory. It will be possible to follow the race via live streaming on Sunday, March 9th, starting at 3:00 PM. Pacific Nestlè Fitness Cycling Team, Saint Kilda Cycling Club, BePink Bongioanni, Top Girls Fassa Bortolo, BTC City Ljubljana Zhiaf Ambedo, Isolmant Premac Vittoria, Aromitalia 3T Vaiano, Mendelspeck plus the US National Team.
