Team Continental Unieuro Wilier Trevigiani young riders will face the 2015 season riding Cento1AIR, the most recent jewelry realized by Wilier Triestina Factory.
After Cento1, Cento1SL, Cento1SLR, Cento1SR, the bicycles manufacturer founded in 1906 in Bassano del Grappa by Pietro Dal Molin has gone further once again.
The idea behind this 2014 innovation was to find the perfect aerodynamic efficiency: «When we developed the Zero.7, we sought to perfect power transfer, maximizing every watt of a rider’s effort. In designing our time trial bikes, we learned how to control the flow of air. Our experience with the Cento1 confirmed that the integrated seatmast is vital for those who demand the best performance from their bike. We combined these elements from our origins, and then the insight and experience of Wilier Triestina did the rest».
For Cento1AIR, Wilier Triestina received the innovation prize in 2014 TAIPEI CYCLE D&I awards competition organized by the International Forum Design (iF design).
Unieuro Wilier Trevigiani Team riders on their Cento1AIR will use Shimano Dura-Ace 11 speed group; Mavic wheels and tires; handlebars, seat post and attack Ritchey; saddle and tape Prologo; Elite bottle cage and will have black and red livery.
«I would like to thank all the partners who have believed in this project, which will officially start this week with the first training camp of the team» said team manager Massimo Rabbaglio. «Our boys and all our staff I'm sure will give their best to repay the investment of these prestigious companies, and thanks to Wilier Triestina our riders will not have excuses for not going fast».
