The G.S. Itala 1907 of San Bartolo a Cintoia continues to be an outstanding reference point in national youth cycling, thanks to its managers, both past and present, who have guided the club now in its 118th year of activity. Special recognition goes to Franco Faggi and Giuliano Cenni (current honorary president), and current president Fabio Bonechi. Through capillary and commendable promotional work, Itala 1907 presents 29 athletes in 2025, with evident growth in the youngest categories and reinforcement at the junior level to provide further opportunities for these 17 and 18-year-old talents.
This was highlighted during the presentation at the Auditorium of Santa Maria Madre della Chiesa parish in Florence, not only by President Bonechi and Vice President Adriana Masetti, but also by cycling officials, including national FCI Vice President Saverio Metti, regional representatives Michele, Fogli, Masiani, Dolfi, and Florence District 4 President Mirko Dormentoni. The club has acquired a new team car, and during the season, the Florence-based society will seek to enhance its mountain bike school with new routes to be developed at the Graziella Cenni Cycling Track in San Bartolo a Cintoia.
