Less than a month remains before the 31st edition of FSA Bike Festival Riva del Garda, but the event held at the Vittoria Park in Brembate (BG) aimed to preview what will be experienced in Riva del Garda. The day indeed began by cycling on the facility's trails, in mountain bike and gravel, in anticipation of testing the Garda Trentino trails from May 1st to 4th. In addition to numerous guests and Garda Trentino representatives, representatives from title sponsor FSA and main sponsor Scott, who provided the bicycles used within Vittoria Park, were also present.
After parking the bicycles, Silvio Rigatti, President of Garda Dolomiti Tourism Company S.p.A., opened the presentation: "The Bike Festival is an event that knows how to reinvent itself year after year, growing and evolving to anticipate and launch trends that are now an integral part of the cycling world. It is one of the largest bike festivals in Europe, hosted in a stunning location like Garda Trentino, a true paradise for cycling enthusiasts. Increasingly central is the attention to sustainability, a value that the festival shares with our destination's tourism strategies, for a more green and responsible future".
Giorgio Marra, FSA Project Manager, also intervened: "We are proud that FSA will once again be alongside the Riva del Garda Bike Festival. A nine-year appointment and collaboration that allows our brand to remain connected to the end consumer in a direct and authentic way. Together with Garda Trentino, we are working to improve it, year after year, enriching the offering with new partners and services to ensure everyone the best possible experience in a unique location. FSA will not miss the opportunity to present the GRADIENT line of Enduro-Gravity products, being able to test them with Atherton bikes".
At the end of the presentation, guests recharged their energy after pedaling by tasting various Trentino specialties prepared by Evelyn Dalgliesh and Carlo Faggionato from Locanda53 in Arco and accompanied by Trentodc Riserva Pas Dosé from Riva Winery. In full Bike Festival spirit, Erdinger beer glasses (made of recycled and reusable plastic, respecting the festival's sustainable intent) were not missing, as a partner of the Bike Festival. A refreshment made even more pleasant by the SICK! Show powered by Bikeflip Marketplace, a preview of what will be possible to see in the festival's show area.
Guests also had the fortune of being the first to taste the dish dedicated to the Bike Festival by Trentino Michelin-starred chef Peter Brunel. But for the recipe, they'll have to wait a bit, no spoilers are allowed yet.
