The Gesiolo Park Expo in Siziano, just a stone's throw from Milan and not far from Pavia, is a think tank, an incubator of dreams. Here, the new Pedale Casalese Armofer was presented: an afternoon "snack" to introduce the novice, junior, and youth teams, followed by an evening dinner with sponsors, a way to thank and toast a project that wants to build men before cyclists.

"The first thing we look at is the report card, the performance of the kids: school is a priority for us," says Stefano Cinerari, who with his cousins Andrea and Emilio (Saturday absent due to work commitments, ed.) runs Armofer and shares a passion for cycling, in a soft voice that doesn't detract from his goals.

"It's a fortune to have a family like the Cineraris by our side," says Luca Colombo, general manager of the Pedale Casalese Armofer project. "With them, form is substance. With Armofer, victories are not a priority (although in 2024 they won a world championship jersey and a European champion title with Cristian Fantini, ed.) but the direct consequence of work aimed at forming boys and girls. We are more of a family than a team, and we now have this relationship even with our sponsors who believe in sports and our social work."

Many friends of Pedale Casalese Armofer were present, from Veronica Squinzi and her husband Emanuele, friends of Stefano Cinerari and great supporters of the cycling project, to Robert Carrara of Cicli Drali, who this year will be a technical partner of the team along with Velo Plus and Deda Elementi. The president of the Italian Cycling Federation Cordiano Dagnoni was there with his wife Paola and regional president Stefano Pedrinazzi, as was Davide Cassani, who brought his interested testimony, having recruited Filippo Omati from Pedale Casalese last year. The "Lord of Roses", the Six Days man Claudio Santi, was present, an intimate friend and mentor to Luca Colombo in terms of management and organization: "So many discussions, so many arguments, but how much I learned, today I am only grateful..." Luca says.

And then there was that small great man Ercole Spada, who carries Team Equa on his shoulders, a national and international reference for the disabled, an authentic forge of humanity and medals. There was also a "kid" from the Casalese house, Nicola Rossi, with evident signs of a very recent serious bicycle accident, but with equally evident signs of a boy who knows what he's doing and where he wants to go. And then the former professionals Emanuele Bombini, Nicola Miceli, Mario Chiesa, friends and more for Pedale Casalese Armofer, a company – the latter – a leader in demolitions, but with the passion of building: men.
