148 athletes from 25 different teams are ready to compete on Sunday, March 9th in the 13th Edition of the Gold in Euro Trophy - Women's Bike Race. The competition, starting and finishing in Montignoso, will feature a 106.8 km route with a final circuit including a double climb of the Fortress hill, an always decisive challenge to determine the winner.

Elisa Longo Borghini (Uae Team Adq) arrives at the start as the reigning champion and more motivated than ever to pursue her third victory in the competition, a feat never achieved before. The Italian champion will be accompanied by Karlijn Swinkels, second in the previous edition, and Silvia Persico who finished the Uae Tour just behind her captain. The Emirates team will face 6 World Tour teams, 3 Professional teams, 8 Continental teams, and 7 club teams, all with capable athletes ready to make their mark in the Montignoso classic.

Canyon Sram lines up an attacking duo with Danish Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig, strong in climbing and very experienced in classics, and Neve Bradbury, a young promise of Australian cycling and white jersey at the 2024 Giro Women. For Fenix Deceunick, watch out for cyclocross riders Sara Casasola and Puck Pieterse, already impressive in the early classics of the season. Human Powered Health is also well-equipped with Ruth Edwards, third in the previous edition, and the strong Dutch climber Thalita De Jong, who already won the Trofeo Benissalem Andratx at the end of January.
