After the first four races of the new season, Lorenzo Magli's eighth place at the Gran Premio La Torre in Tuscany and Andrea Guerra's good performance at the Coppa San Geo, the Gallina Lucchini Ecotek Colosio team has scheduled four more events for the upcoming weekend.
Starting with the Memorial Polese scheduled for Saturday, March 1st with departure from San Michele di Piave and arrival in Santa Maria del Piave, in the Treviso area, which will be participated by Magli, Belleri, Guerra, the Ukrainian Sydor, Cocca and Oliosi. The race is part of the National calendar and covers a total of 168 kilometers with a start at 12:30.
Sunday, March 2nd's schedule is instead focused on two races: the Gran Premio De Nardi in Castello Roganzuolo and the Trofeo Tecnomeccanica in Volta Mantovana. These are two targets that appeal to sprinters, both being designed on flat local circuits. In the Treviso area, Longagnani, Guerra, De Marchi, Bonini, Pellegrini, Oliosi and Sydor will race, while at the start of the Lombard race will be Cocca, Magli, Belleri, Bregoli, Calzaferri, Gavazzi, Bonometti and Franzoni.
The long weekend will culminate on Wednesday, March 5th in Croatia. At stake is the traditional Trofeo Umag, an international UCI Class 1.2 race to which Gallina Lucchini Ecotek Colosio is particularly attached. Riders Magli, Belleri, Guerra, Sydor, Cocca and Longagnani will face the trip.
