With registrations now open, the countdown has begun for the second edition of Valchiavenna Gravel Escape. A year after its promising debut, the event conceived and organized by Valchiavenna Tourist Consortium, Chiavenna Sports Club and a cohesive group of volunteers, returns on May 10th and 11th for an unmissable weekend for cycling enthusiasts. This is not a race but a ride on Valchiavenna's dirt roads by gravel, mountain, or e-bike, covering 50, 80, or 100 kilometers. Each participant will choose to experience the event based on their fitness level and preferred bicycle type.

These will be two intense days: on Saturday, bike tests will be available to try the latest market innovations, and kids' rides will be open for young participants to enjoy in complete safety; on Sunday, the three routes will start on currently secret tracks that will be revealed a few days prior. For everyone, regardless of bicycle or chosen distance, there will be breathtaking panoramas and suggestive hidden corners, through woods, trails, and secondary roads, in Valchiavenna and nearby Switzerland.

With this event, we will inaugurate the beautiful season by welcoming cycle tourists, thanks also to the essential contribution of numerous volunteers, tireless and precious, who are committed to the event's success".

What makes Valchiavenna Gravel Escape special is its ability to be stimulating yet pleasant, adrenaline-fueled yet fun, an event to share a passion with family and new friends, to discover a territory in its naturalistic beauty and historical peculiarities. The 2025 edition presents both confirmations, in methods and organization, and innovations: the most important is represented by Banca Popolare di Sondrio's support, as title sponsor, which has joined the Valchiavenna project.
