di comunicato stampa

The elegant and picturesque setting of Villa Ca' Sagredo in Conselve (Pd) hosted the 2025 launch of the Team Nordest Villadose Angelo Gomme.

The Polesana team, led by Dr. Roberto Dolcetto, gathered supporters, guests, and authorities to unveil the 2025 junior team and the activities the red-black-green team will promote in the upcoming season. In the front row, alongside former professionals Silvio Martinello, Massimo Ghirotto, Gabriele and Nicholas Dalla Valle, applauding the team's commitment were also the Rovigo Provincial Councilor Edoardo Lubian, national federal councilor Sandro Checchin, Vice-President of the Veneto Regional Committee, Ezio Piovesan and the Provincial Presidents of Padua and Rovigo, Alberto Barbirato and Mirvano Mazzetto.

8 ATHLETES IN THE ROSTER - There are 8 athletes in the Team Nordest Villadose Angelo Gomme roster: alongside the four confirmed Daniele Forlin, Marco Giandoso, Andrea Quaresima and Alessandro Sbrissa, two second-year athletes will join: Lorenzo Dalla Cia, coming from Sc Padovani, and Marco Bortolaso, recruited from Vc Anguillara, plus two newcomers to the junior category. These are Giovanni Bergamasco, who grew up with the Team Infocars Estemotor from Este, and Gabriele Veronese from Uc Mirano. A team seemingly suited for the most challenging and prominent national and international junior category events, with Forlin, Giandoso, Quaresima, and Sbrissa as key reference points.

Leading the team is the confirmed Sports Director Carlo Chiarion, who can count on the collaboration of Mattia Garzara and Lucio Tasinato. Athletic preparation during the winter months was handled by Stefano Nardelli in collaboration with personal trainer Matteo Zenna, team doctor Dr. Simone Uliari, and nutritionist Dr. Nicola Maria Moschetti. Taking care of the new Bottecchia bikes are brothers Franco and Sandro Rossato, supported by Gianmarco Mazzuccato.

This year, the Team Nordest Villadose Angelo Gomme representatives will be ambassadors of a project involving some classes from the Munerati Agricultural School in Rovigo, promoting healthy and balanced nutrition. The project, carried forward by the Nordest Producers Organization, will also collaborate with the University of Padua in 2025 to evaluate the positive impact of fruit consumption on junior athletes.

STATEMENTS - Hosting the event, President Roberto Dolcetto said: "A junior team now has the structure of a U23 team: nothing is missing. This year we have renewed our educational partnership with the Munerati Agricultural Institute in Rovigo: a project we strongly believe in and which will be further expanded this year".
Enthusiastic about the start of the fifth year of collaboration with the Villadose team, Nordest Producers Organization President Tibaldo Costantino added: "When we started this journey together, we wanted to grow by combining our products with those who want to eat them and grow. We are in our fifth year, and last year marked an important turning point. On behalf of the 250 companies I represent, I want to wish our young athletes a fruitful year. With the University of Padua, we have initiated a new synergy to better understand how our fruit can be useful to high-level athletes like these young men".
Presenting the team details was Team Manager Fabrizio Zambello: "It won't be easy to repeat ourselves this year, but there are prerequisites for a good road season. We have an experienced and mature renewed team: six-eighths are second-year riders, with an excellent predisposition for mixed routes. We'll start immediately on March 3rd with a challenging race that will be an excellent test. Alongside them, we've built a staff with various professional figures who can support and assist them best: I'm convinced this team will surprise us".
Closing the presentation evening were the encouraging words of Olympic Champion Silvio Martinello: "I want to congratulate President Roberto Dolcetto for the further step forward he has given this team. Having a structure like this is an opportunity for young athletes to express themselves at their best", followed by Massimo Ghirotto's words to the athletes: "As a rider, at your age, I certainly covered fewer kilometers, but cycling has changed tremendously, and it's right that you can count on maximum support. Remember, besides cycling, take care of your studies and culture, which are fundamental to your personal growth".
