The Swiss Track Championships were held at the Grenchen velodrome. Standing out, despite bad luck, were the boys from Velo Club Mendrisio led by Alfredo Maranesi. The team won the Scratch title thanks to the excellent performance of Mats Poot who prevailed in front of his compatriots Constant and Vogel: tenth place for Elia Felsberger. In the Points Race, the title went to Noah Bögli with Poot in fifth place and Felsberger in eighth. In the Elimination Race, Alex Vogel won, with Poot and Felsberger respectively finishing eighth and ninth. The Velo Club Mendrisio boys performed at their best in the Omnium, one of the most anticipated events, but unfortunately, bad luck struck Luca Brühlmann, who was forced to withdraw, along with Francesco Caruso, both victims of a bad crash. Fortunately, the two athletes suffered only bruises and a bad scare. The Omnium ended up rewarding Matteo Constant (Elite Foundation Cycling Team) who closed with 126 points ahead of Noah Bogli (125) and the excellent Poot, who gifted the black and white colors of Mendrisio a well-deserved bronze medal: Felsberger finished ninth.
