ISOLMANT ALONGSIDE FAS AIRPORT SERVICES - GUERCIOTTI

Eugenio Canni Ferrari, or a perpetual motion. The entrepreneur Eugenio Canni Ferrari has never had time to get bored in life, between sports practice and the growth of his Isolmant. "Sports have given me so much, especially cycling, and I've organized myself to practice it. I have bicycles in my house and even in the office ready to use," often repeats the owner of Isolmant, producer of acoustic and thermal insulation for construction.
The Isolmant brand appears on the jerseys of the team Fas Airport Services-Guerciotti-Premac, a squad known for its successes in cyclocross. The current "Tecnoasfalti Isolmant" originally had its headquarters in Milan on Via Moscova, near the Napoleonic Arena, with a production unit in San Giuliano Milanese. Isolmant was founded in 1976 by Ugo Canni Ferrari, father of Eugenio and current administrator Lorenzo.
Dad Ugo, before founding Isolmant, contributed to the success of Viapol, a producer of road asphalt. Now the headquarters and production unit Tecnoasfalti Isolmant are in the large industrial area of Carpiano, a municipality in the southern outskirts of Milan.
"We are expanding - explains Eugenio, who lives in Milan in the San Siro area with his wife Claudia and children Alessia and Federico -. Soon Isolmant will extend to other warehouses we have acquired in the industrial area of Carpiano. We have important projects, we need space".
Then the patron narrates his sporting past: "Until the age of 14, I played football in the Orione team in Milan. It was a club controlled by Inter's Youth Sector, of which I have always been a big fan. Later, I practiced motocross and cycling. Although I arrived late to competitive practice, I have always liked cycling. I also practiced cross country mountain bike when the vehicle was still called a 'rampichino'. Paola Pezzo was for many years a fantastic ambassador of cross country mountain bike".
As a rider, Eugenio, born in 1965, did not break through. But the bike guaranteed him important friends, including Giovanni Fidanza. Eugenio and the former professional rider from Bergamo are the same age. In recent years, Fidanza has become his privileged interlocutor.
"Giovanni and I met again after many years, and the credit goes to friend Angelo Tonoli, owner of Premac, another successful company in the construction field". Premac was the sponsor of Giovanni's women's team. Thanks to Tonoli and Eugenio Canni Ferrari's boundless passion for sports, Isolmant became the main sponsor of Fidanza's UCI Continental women's team. Now the Isolmant-Premac-Vittoria team, which uses Guerciotti bikes, is known to all enthusiasts thanks to the performances of Beatrice Rossato, Asia Zontone, Valeria Curnis, Sonia Rossetti and the multi-titled eliminator mountain bike rider Gaia Tormena, who is also good in road competitions.
"In 2025 - specifies Eugenio Ferrari - we will celebrate the 6th year of sponsorship with Fidanza's team. We are pleased to support a team appreciated for its seriousness and quality of results".
Recently, the spark has indeed struck between Mr. Isolmant and the Fas Airport Services-Guerciotti-Premac team. In Eugenio Canni Ferrari's philosophy, something counts more than results: "Paolo Guerciotti's team - he says - is a beautiful reality. Even before the results, I ask the athletes wearing the yellow-black jersey to have a lot of fun. The first goal is for the Fas Airport Services Guerciotti Premac cyclocross riders to enjoy themselves. I want to see them smile at the end of every competition".
Eugenio recently had a lot of fun at the Mamma e Papà Guerciotti International Cyclocross Grand Prix at Vittoria Park. The entrepreneur was among the first to congratulate Elisa Ferri, first in the international junior women's race.
The Fas Airport Services-Guerciotti - Premac cyclocross riders often give important victories to their sponsors. Mattia Agostinacchio is the European Junior Champion in the individual event and team relay. Filippo Agostinacchio and Lucia Bramati are European Team Relay Champions. "I want to wish the Guerciotti boys many satisfactions. I am happy to be by their side," says Mr. Isolmant.
